Our Services
If you’re a contractor, builder, remodeler, painter, or designer and need a reliable cabinet finishing partner, Shelly’s Kitchens can be your cabinet shop.
We handle the spray finishing, doors and drawer fronts, and drop-off work, so you can focus on managing your projects, clients, and schedules.
Why Contractors Partner with Shelly’s
Cabinet Specialists, Not General Painters
Cabinets are not just “another paint job.”
We’re set up specifically for kitchen cabinet finishing, including:
- A 2K cabinet coating system designed for cabinets (not wall paint)
- A robotic spray system for doors and drawer fronts
- A dedicated spray booth and bake oven for a smooth, factory-like finish
- A field process for finishing cabinet frames in the home with matching products
- Look and feel like new cabinets
- Hold up better than on-site rolled or brushed finishes
- Reflect well on your work and your brand
Off-Site Spraying That Keeps Your Jobs Cleaner
Spraying cabinets on a jobsite can be messy, risky, and time-consuming.
With Shelly’s:
- Doors and drawer fronts are removed and finished in our shop
- We control dust, airflow, and temperature in our spray booth
- The bake oven helps the finish cure faster and harder
- Less overspray and dust on-site
- Fewer “paint smell” complaints
- Less disruption for your clients
- A finish that’s consistent from job to job
Ways We Work with Contractors
Option 1 – Full-Service Cabinet Refinishing on Your Jobs
You bring us into the project as the cabinet specialist, and we handle the cabinet portion from start to finish.
Typically includes:
- Removing doors and drawer fronts
- Handling all prep, repairs, and finishing in our shop
- Finishing frames in the home with a matching system
- Reinstalling doors and drawer fronts
- Installing new hardware and soft-close hinges (if part of scope)
- Remodeling contractors
- Design–build teams
- General contractors who want a turnkey cabinet solution for their clients
You manage the project and client relationship. We handle the cabinet finishing and coordinate with you.

Option 2 – DIY & Drop-Off for Contractors
If your crew is comfortable removing and reinstalling doors and drawers, we can act as your off-site finishing shop.
Typically looks like:
- Your team removes and labels doors and drawer fronts
- You (or your client) drop them off at our shop, or we coordinate pickup if arranged
- We clean, prep, spray, and bake the doors/drawers in your specified color and sheen
- You pick them up and reinstall on your schedule
- Painting companies that don’t want to set up a full cabinet spray operation
- Contractors outside our normal in-home service radius
- Projects where you want a premium sprayed finish without investing in your own booth and oven
Option 3 – New Doors & Drawer Fronts (Re-Dooring) for Your Jobs
If you’re keeping boxes but updating style, we can supply and finish new doors and drawer fronts for your projects.
We can:
- Help you with door style selection (e.g., Shaker, slab, etc.)
- Provide doors/drawers sized for your existing boxes
- Finish them in our spray booth and bake oven in your specified color
- Coordinate with your team on timing and delivery
You get a clean, consistent door style + finish, and your client gets the “new cabinets” look without the new cabinet cost.

What We Need from You for Accurate Quotes

- Notes on: whether boxes are staying as-is or being modified, whether you need new doors/drawer fronts, any damage, repairs, or special conditions we should know about
- Desired finish details: color(s), sheen, any special requests (two-tone, accent islands, etc.)
- Provide a quote for our portion of the work
- Give you an estimated turnaround time

Trade Pricing & Ongoing Relationships
We’re not looking for one-off transactions—we’re looking for trade partners.
With repeat contractor partners, we can:
- Talk through typical project sizes you handle
- Get a feel for how many cabinet jobs you run in a year
- Work toward consistent pricing and predictable timelines
- Bake the finish in a controlled environment for a hard, durable, factory-like result
FAQs for Contractors & Trade Partners
Do you work directly with our clients, or only through us?
- Some contractors have us communicate only through them
- Others bring us into meetings and let us speak directly with the homeowner about finish details
Can you match colors or use specific paint systems?
We work with a cabinet-grade 2K coating system designed for durability. If you have a color from a specific brand (e.g., Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore), we can usually match that color in our system.
We’ll confirm color details as part of the quoting process.
Do you travel to job sites outside your normal homeowner radius?
Can you help us decide if a project is a good fit for refinishing vs replacement?
- When refinishing or re-dooring is a great option
- When damage, layout, or other factors make full replacement a better choice
How do we start working together?
- Send us photos, plans, or drawings
- Share a rough door/drawer count
- Let us know whether you prefer full-service, drop-off, or new doors only
- Tell us your rough timeline
